Brian Holmes, Board Member
Brian’s has almost 30 years of experience in Simulation and Training with both Government and Industry positions, which began at the University of Central Florida where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1988. He later returned to the University of Central Florida and completed a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with an emphasis in Simulation and Training in 1998.
Brian is currently the Vice President of Business Development for Nova Technologies, where he manages the formation and update of an ongoing strategic business plan, defining and managing product commercialization, and developing and executing strategies to facilitate growth in both existing and new markets. Brian is a passionate supporter of several non-profit organizations, and has served on the Fairways for Warriors Board of Directors since 2012, where his current role is the Treasurer for the organization. In addition to Fairways for Warriors, Brian has been a member of the Board of Director for the National Center for Simulation since 2009, where he is also the Chairman of the NCS Board. Brian also assumed the role of chairman for the annual NCS Golf Tournament in 2014, and under his leadership has helped raise almost $250,000 for NCS Scholarships and Civics education through the Lou Frey Institute for Politics and Government at the University of Central Florida.
In addition to his professional and charitable endeavors, Brian cherishes time with his wife Christine and son Alexander, a 2015 graduate of Florida State University. Brian also enjoys golfing, cycling, fishing, surfing, traveling and spending quality time with his family and friends.
